The Blue Box - Untying the Cords of the Yoke
While studying Breaking Free by Beth Moore you have "homework" - Daily study in a workbook. It is a great way to learn & it gives you a chance to apply what you have studied. At the end of each day you are asked, "How does God want you to respond to what He showed you Today?" with a small blue box to write a response. I began writing in the "blue box" from the 1st person perspective, as if He was speaking directly to me. If you have read Jesus Calling by Sarah Young you understand the powerful concept.
I am going to begin a series of posts, "From the Blue Box". These blue boxes have been little treasures for me the past 11 weeks, better than a box from Tiffany's. No really! The gifts that have been given through this study are priceless. Post 1...

Untying the Cords of the Yoke
God yearns for us to ask His help; instead we look for the aid of human agents. We have to learn how to recognize a foreign yoke prior to receiving the hook. God is the glorious initiator of reconciliation. He extends His hand in mercy, it's our job to grad hold & not let go. God's will for our lives is freedom in Christ.
Ignorance is not your friend. Captivity can come in many different forms. Each of us has a tendency to forget what God has done for us. We will find freedom to the degree our hearts accept, relay & respond to the truth of God's Word.
How does God want you to respond to what He has shown you today?
Grab a hold now, my way. Drop your way.
It's the only way to authentic freedom.
I can give you liberty in me as a reality,
not just fantasy in your life 2 Cor 4:7
Humbling yourself may be uncomfortable,
but pride will be your downfall & take your children with you.
Cry out, acknowledge. Give the me full access to your heart.
Surrender fully for freedom.
I won't change you while you are sleeping.
You have to do the work.
Have you had enough of your own self-destructive behavior?
2 Chron 33:6, 10-13
