God is With You

Have you ever asked yourself where IS God? Have you ever been right in the middle of a "mess" either self-created or not & thought "Hello, God where are you?!"

Well I'm here to tell ya He is with you. He never leaves & He's in the details...

When you are a few hours away from home in a foriegn land & your truck engine makes a loud pop followed by rushing air sound you get a little frightened. Especially if the road your on only has old, boarded up service stations & one antique glass shop which on any other day you would stop at to take a look around. This might be a time when arrow prayers are shot up, if you are so inclined. A crucial point, to take a momoment with the Holy Spirit. He is there & will lead ya to a nice new Ford Dealership with nice new service center if you allow Him.

Now after the Holy Spirit has protected & guided you to a lovely, new facility you praise Him & give thanks! Then you see a sign on the door & another fear sets in.

What is this going to cost Lord?! I'm at a brand new Ford Dealership...aaaahhh!!!

And yet another arrow prayer goes up, prayer requests get texted & calls are made.

Our Father is soo good to us. Do we sit on the edge of highway for hours scared & wondering? No! We sit in an air-conditioned waiting room, with bathrooms, vending machines & television!!

All the while trusting that He has put a hedge of protection around us & that engine ; )

Big Daddy callin' his Big Daddy for some mechanical advise. Now he's leanin' on a shiny new truck that they just happen to pull up & park for him to take a look at ; )

I'm behind the camera documenting all this because I just know there will be a testimony out of this one : 0

So here it goes...

One truck with engine problems in the middle of nowhere w/4 babies & your wife in tow = $100

Led to a new, professional Ford Dealership 8 miles from where your engine blew = $500

Dealership gets your truck in to be looked at in 20 mins & repaired in 2 hours = $700

Two hour wait completed in nice waiting room with food, t.v., chairs = $ 800

Repair bill for your truck just a few dollars = $1000 (or more)

Find out you are only 20 miles from your original destination = $3000

Realize & see Jesus is with you & has you covered every step of every day = PRICELESS

God is for us see Psalm 130!

We can't keep quiet, we have to keep singing praises in a foriegn land see Psalm 137!

Thanks to those who offered prayer, encouragement & rides! What a blessing to have friends offer to drive & pick us up if necessary. Also, thanks to Ford, yes the guys over there were great! I'm writing a letter of gratitude including my pics to the CEO ; )

Remember, God's presence accompanies His faithful children no matter where life takes them!
