McLinky Monday-Valentines Edition-How do YOU Celebrate?
How do you Celebrate Valentines Day? Is it an extra special day for you? OR is every day an extra special day? Did you celebrate over the weekend with a romantic dinner out? Or did your sweetie cook you a romantic dinner at home?
Bubba & I celebrate will celebrate with our kiddos. We have a nice dinner at home with candles & romantic music. The kids love it! They dress up & we have "real" napkins LOL.
We celebrate on our own by having a date night. We don't like to do it on the actual holiday as the restaurants are packed. As we mature, we realize that this holiday needs to be celebrated through out the year in order for our marriage to make it. So while we heart this holiday, we try to make it about family love.
Thanks to Dawn's Diversion for the family pic
“Here is the deepest secret nobody knows.
Here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
And the sky of the sky of a tree called life;
Which grows higher than soul can hope or mind can hide.
And this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart.
I carry your heart.
I carry it in my heart.”
-E.E.Cummings

ReplyDeleteAhww -Sweet! When I went to my son's V day party at his school yesterday they had battery operated candles on each table -so cute!
ReplyDeleteI love that you celebrate the holiday as a family! We do to! I think it is important that we teach our children how to "love", and show "love" correctly! and I love that words such as "farts" was used! (I was raised with all brothers, and now having all girls those words just are not used as much!_)
